Although I have acquired the essential knowledge of my major, I am not easily satisfied with such superficial knowledge,because there is still too much I don’t know. I will not be competent to do things professionally owing to lack of ample knowledge and ability. So I think further study is still urgent for me to realize self-value. It is necessary to seize any chance for self-development, especially in this competitive modernworld. This is a very important reason for me to take the postgraduate exams.

As is well known, China state institute of pharmaceutical industry for its good reputation of professional experts and high-level of researching.Besides,the institute environment and facilities are fine and satisfying , I am deeply attracted by the scholarly atmosphere here ,which led my decision to make this choice.

if luckily I am enrolled to learn microbiology and biochemistry pharmacy in China state institute of pharmaceutical industry, I will concentrate on the study and research in this field. First I will work hard to learn the theoritical knowledge, making a solid foundation for future profession; second I would like to do some practical experiments with the help of my professor ,in this way I can get something that cannot be acquired from the textbooks. If possible, I will go on with my study for doctorate degree.

Shanghai Normal University is a university for more than 60 years.It has been developing into a comprehensive university with efforts of generations, especially in the recent 30 years.We have a new campus with almost all the facilities we need ,such as the development center of plant germplasm reseorce,well-equipped labs, modern education technical center and so on。The library is brand-new, with a storage of 3 millions books. Our professors are knowledgable and extracurricular activities are colorful.In a word,I love my university. 3.家庭

There are four menbers in my family :my parents ,my elder sisters and I. my sister have been married,so now I live with my parents. My father is very king and easy-going.His love for me is unconditional. I am lucky because I have a good father .My father has been thirsty forknowledge as he had only a few years of schooling himself.He believes that the knowledge can change fate.So,my father offered me every opportunity to study no matter how poor my familiy was. To sum up,my family is harmonious and our life is very happy. 4.家乡

My hometown is Nanan, in Quanzhou City of Fujian Province. There is a long history and a population of more than 1.4 million. Unlike being in a big city,there isn’t much industry ,so it is a very beautiful and lovely place to live in.There are some old teahouses ,you can have a cup of tea and chat there in the morning.And there is also a beautiful park,which is called Wunong Park,people usully do exercises and go walking in it. Its economy has been developing rapidly in the past twenty years. New houses,roads and bridges have been built. People in my hometown are very hard working,friendly and honest.although they are a bit conservative sometimes.In a word ,I love my hometown very much. 5.大学生活

Generally speaking,I find my college life interesting and colorful ,it will be my most excieting period of my life.And I should say that four-year academic life would become one of most rewarding experiences in my life.We have chances to learn a lot of knowledge ,we have opportunities to develop our abilities.We take part in seminars ,academic reports and some rearch work.In this way,we put what we learn into pratice.I also enjoy my leisure activities,they are all very wonderful.

We are getting on well with each other.Most of them are smart and considerate,but some of them are kind of nosiy and messy.Anyway ,I like

them very much.Well,some of my roommates enjoy playing computer games so much and they often keep me up late at night. 7.学习情况

My scores are over average ,but I spent a lot of time in my part-time jobs.I am not a very good student,but I like learning ,I always study hard.

Music：I like popular music because it best convey positive energy and easy to understand.

Sport:I like sports because it brings health,which is the source of happiness.Besides,I can become mentally mature through doing some sports.

I have read many kinds of books,among them I found “The Unlikely Pil-grimage of Harold Fry”by the British woman writer Rachel Joyce .I was deeply impressed by the old man’s persistence on not giving up what he had been doing .From the book I learn We must strengthen our faith.The influence has still worked on me although I read the book three years ago. 10 .最喜欢的运动

I like various sports,but Running is my favorite.I often go to playground to run.It is so important to me that it already becomes part of my life.Fist,it makes me physically strong.Second ,I make a lot of friends.Running makes me more strong,and I really enjoy it my very much。

My college zoology teacher is my favorite teacher.he is in her forties,and has quite active personality.Unlike other teacher of her age,she knows well enough the meaning of life and work,and has keen pursuit of both career success and life enjoyment.I admire the way she work and live.She is a successful father and a successful teacher. 12.学习习惯

Generally speaking,I am a moring person.I like to get up early in the morning,go out to breath the fresh air ,then adjust my mentality to

If you ask me the difficuly I have met in my study,I think English undoubtedly is the most difficult,especially spoken English.I have learned English for almost 10 years and I still have a lot of trouble with oral English .The bigest is that I cannot communicate with foreigners freely.I always want to translate words in my mind.Though there are things need improving,I never lose my confidence to overcome it.Practice makes perfect,I believe. 14.英语学习的重要性
