This book tells a story that between two schools. Those are the Hawkwood School which the parents did not pay any money and the children were much better at fighting than the passing examinations and the Greycoats School where parents paid a lot of money to send their children to and the students were not only clean and tidy, wore expensive clothes, but also did well in examinations. The students` teacher Sam Sylvester want them to have ambition-to do things, to want things, so that he enters a team from his class for a competition in running, swimming, shooting, and cross-country riding. So in order to win the competition, the students were much harder to study and training than they have ever done in their lives. To my disappointment the competition ended with no winners, no losers, but the story is very interesting. I enjoyed myself.
My Feelings
The story in this book is very interesting and be worth reading. I can see one thing from the story ,that is nothing is difficult for one who sets his mind to it. First, in my opinion, I think if there are many difficult things in the world, there will be no lives. Just
like the story, if because of the difficult the players of the Hawkwood School never pay attention to this competition, the competition will not be ended with no winners, on losers. In addition, we can be succeed if we do something harder, because there is nothing difficult can stop us. Just as the students of the Hawkwood School, from “passing examinations meat hard work, and who wanted to study every evening?” to the most of the everyone can do the competition well. Finally, what I want to say is fighting so that you can get the success that you never thought before. “We’ll never beat Greycoats, never in a million years!” the students of Hawkwood cry. But in the ends, they succeed. According to these, I think for the efforts of the people, the world does not exist is difficult.
