摘要：A method and composition for improving the level of expression of a gene orcollection of genes by providing a novel baculovirus promoter to which a heterologousgene is attached. The novel promoter may contain a modification of a natural viralpromoter or may be totally synthetic. The novel baculovirus promoter may alsocomprise a combination promoter such as a promoter with a double start site or acombination of two different promoters. Foreign gene placement in a novel location orgenomic orientation is also included.
