摘要：A silicone oil-in-water emulsion comprising 3 to 90% by volume of a silicone oilphase, characterized in that the emulsion is stabilized by a protein and/or peptidepresent at 0.25 to 20% by weight of the emulsion. The emulsion contains less than 25%by weight and preferably zero % by weight of non-polymeric amphiphilic surfactantbased on the weight of protein or peptide. A process for preparing the emulsion is alsodescribed.
