摘要：A method and apparatus for the production of a foamed thermoplasticmaterial. A cavity transfer mixer is provided between a screw extruder which melts, orfuses, the thermoplastic material, and a cooler. The cavity transfer mixer enables theformation of uniform and well mixed admixtures of a foaming agent and a thermoplasticmaterial and, optionally, other desired additives.
