A locking device with a padlock of an operating handle (16) of a moulded caseminiature circuit breaker (10), having orifices (24) arranged on the side face of the handlemovement aperture, in which the ends, curved at right angles, of a locking device in theshape of a hair-pin (38) can be inserted, characterized in that said pin is mounted withsliding on a base (30) having a locking part in the shape of a wedge (36) inserted in theactive position between the branches (44, 46) of the hair-pin (38) to maintain thesebranches in the separated position holding them in said orifices (24), an operating lever(50) articulated on the base (30) operating in conjunction with said pin (38).
