摘要：The invention relates to compositions and methods for the treatment ofintestinal pathologies. The invention also relates to compositions and methods which canbe used to regulate the paracellular permeability of the intestinal epithelium. Theinventive compositions and methods are based on the use of protease inhibitors whichmodulate the opening of the tight junctions of the intestinal epithelium. The inventioncan be used for preventive treatment or curative treatment of varied pathologies such asdigestive functional disorders (DFD) and, in particular, intestinal functional disorders (IFD)resulting in hyperalgesia and irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) in mammals, particularlyhumans.
