摘要：A device-to-device (D2D) communication network supports a wireless D2D linkbetween a first wireless transceiver and a second wireless transceiver, the secondwireless transceiver accessing a cellular communication network via the first wirelesstransceiver. The first wireless transceiver receives capability information from the secondwireless transceiver on wireless D2D communication resources and transmits, to thesecond transceiver, power saving information about a power saving mode configurationbased on the received capability information. The power saving information comprisesinformation about sleep periods and active periods of the second transceiver. A syncsignal is transmitted with a timing based at least partly on the power saving modeconfiguration, for facilitating re-synchronization of the second wireless transceiver withthe first wireless transceiver in conjunction with an end of a sleep period of the secondwireless transceiver in accordance with the power saving mode configuration.
