摘要：In a network node attached to a serial bus, a first count value is incrementedbeginning with the start timing of a child notify signal transmitted from the node to thebus until the end timing of a parent notify signal received by the node from said bus. The
first count value represents the turnaround time of signals between the node and a nodeattached to the remote end of the serial bus. Normally, signals from the serial bus aresupplied to a higher layer. Instead of the received bus signal, an idle signal is supplied tothe higher layer for an interval beginning with the end timing of a packet transmittedfrom the higher layer to the bus until the interval corresponds to the turnaround time.
