摘要：The present invention relates to an apparatus and to a method of detecting thelevel of various phases (91, 92, 93) present in at least one tube (9) or vessel intended forfilling the various wells of a microplate container (80) for an automated analysis system(8). According to the invention, the apparatus (1) is provided with an attachment part(112) designed so that it is itself able to be held and/or manipulated instead of a
container (8) in microplate format and detection is carried out by measuring the variationin wavelength of light reflected (a to d) off a discrete area of the content (99) of thetube (9), during displacement of the tube along an optical reader, or displacement of theoptical reader along the tube, in a linear movement and in a known manner. The inventionfurther relates to such an apparatus or method operating by illumination withmonochromatic light and detection of the amount of reflected light, with the phasedifferences being recognized by the sudden variation in the amount of reflected light.
