What is hot for 2010 in our colleges? It is the spelling mistakes. Countless students lack due

attention to spelling. Taking a look around, we can find examples too numerous to list, the one may be “challenge”. Freshman and sophomore almost write this word as “chanllege”. How careless they are! Why such a phenomenon sweeps every university? Some experts attribute it to students’ inattention, because students always pay no attention to spelling. However, other experts argue, the teachers should be blamed for this situation. In my opinion, it is far beyond any reasonable doubt that both of them should exert themselves to change the spelling mistakes.

The spreading of the spelling mistakes has extremely negative effects on the education. For one thing, the special age that none of students can spell correctly will come soon. For another, while communicating with foreigners, we will be laughed at the spelling mistakes made by ourselves. As a result, due attention should be given to spelling immediately.

You are allowed 30 minutes to write a short essay entitled Nothing Succeeds Without a Strong Will. You should write at least 120 words following the outline given below.

1、坚强的意志是成功的重要保证;2、意志坚定的人才能完成伟大的使命;3、学生不刻苦学习,终究不会成为有用之才。

With the coming of a brand new era full of opportunities and innovations, the issue of how to succeed has aroused growing concern in the public. Although there are thousands of ways to success, in my opinion, a strong will is the important guarantee of success, just as a proverb says, “Where there is a will there is a way”.

The long history of human being has proved that only those who have a strong will can fulfill great mission and achieve success at last. Nothing succeeds without a strong will. Take Mao Zedong, one of the great founders of the People’s Republic of China, as an example. If without the strong will to save Chinese people from heavy disaster and build a prosperous, democratic and civilized new country, how could he drive Japanese out of China and become such a famous leader in the world?

If we as a student want to be successful in the future, the strong will on hardworking is the most important. Nowadays, we have been entering an information age with rapid update of knowledge. Who firstly seizes and keeps up with the development of advanced information can succeeds at last. Therefore, studying hard to get more knowledge and improve our ability to handle complicated problems as possible is the only way to lay the solid foundation of future success. 网上购物

1. 现在流行网上购物2. 网上购物的利弊3. 我的看法

Nowadays with the ever rapid development and increasing popularity of the information technology, shopping on the Internet has been a fashion especially among the youngsters.

Online shopping has made our daily life more convenient and comfortable. For example, shopping on the internet can save students a great deal of time on the way between home and store, so they would be able to concentrate more time and energy on their academic work. The Internet has shorten the distance between manufacturers and consumers and thus we can even buy goods in other countries. On the other hand , lack of the face to face deal makes online shopping less reliable and trustworthy. What’s more the delivery will increase the risk of items’ damage.

In my opinion, shopping on the internet is an irreversible trend. More and more people will be accustomed to it. It will be much more popular in the near future. And at the same time we should take some measures to make it perfect.

Watching Television May Do us More Harm than Good

Nowadays, people become rich and TV is widespread in every family. TV offers us all kinds of programs which brings happiness in our lives. However, there are more disadvantages.

First, watching TV makes our family communication time shorter on the condition that there is not much free time. More and more problems, such as generation gap, the high divorce rate, are discovered in our lives. Without the distraction of TV, we might get to know each other better among families. Second, reading time was used by the tv. We adults especially children need to learn by reading. A survey shows that owes its growth is associated with television and come, people can not write a sentence, even at the University level. Children do not always notice the distance between themselves and TV set when watching TV. That is why there are so many shortsightedness. The above disadvantages are not all but a part. TV is one of the progress of social product. .We should make reasonable use of it.

Mourning my happy hours during the vacation, I've been looking forward to winter holidays. People around me seemed to have enjoyed the vacation, too. Then, is it fair that people have the same amount of holidays regardless of their occupations?

Nevertheless, divergent views emerge on the matter in question. Some people are of the opinion that laborers should have the same length of holiday. They hold the view that people are born equal and should be treated equally. The same amount of leisure time may eliminate the unfairness among people who might be upset psychologically if otherwise.

At first sight, it may seem to be an attractive idea, but it doesn't bear much analysis.

To begin with, people do different kinds of jobs featuring different labor intensity and so the time needed to refresh their physical condition varies. For example, blue collar workers may work longer hours before they get tired physically, while white collar workers such as doctors and teachers are more mentally stressed. Unable to work continuously as long as those physical labor workers, white collars need more time to pull through the mental weariness than physical tiredness.

All in all, people in different jobs assume different responsibilities and have different degrees of pressure.

Secondly, different tasks and duties are required for different professions, resulting in the variety of holiday periods for people in different walks of life.

Some employees cannot have their legal holidays and even have to work overtime, such as policemen, construction workers and people in the service line. Those professions just can't be interrupted for a mornent; other wise the

society will be in a mess. Even for some people in the same occupation, they cannot have the same holidays entitled to them due to many factors out of human control, such as special assignments, and health conditions etc, then not to say people in different fields.

Suppose we, as teachers do, all have three months' holiday in a year.

Then factories have to employ considerably more workers because some of them are enjoying happy holiday. That's obviously against the principles of doing business at lower cost and efficiency.

If we have only three days off in a year, then all the people in our country will be working day after day. No one can squeeze time t o visit those tourist resorts leisurely. It goes without saying that the tourist trade and catering industry thus cannot develop rapidly and healthily.

(5), mobile phones are radiation. Because of the teenagers ? My Opinion on Cell PhonesCell phones do play an important role in people's daily life, but every coin has two sides. To start with, a wireless mobile phone is convenient

for the user at any time to contact others. Secondly, it's a helpful companion. With a multifunctional cell phone in hand, one can easily surf the net, downloading what he needs. However, the cell phone has many disadvantages. For one thing, the machine itself is very expensive and its local service is very costly, not to mention its global service. For another, the radiation transmitted from the mobile phones might do harm to the user's health. In my opinion, with its expenses being reduced sharply, its development will have a brighter future. Therefore its advantages will far outweigh its disadvantages.
