The first day of university
There are many precious “first time’’ in everyone’s life. I will never forget the first day when I got from my hometown to YuZhong. It was in the afternoon of sixth September that I arrived in LunZhou railway station. It might be the longest journey I had experienced since I was born, which took me 30 hours on the train. With the help of the receptionists, I took the school bus to YuZhong. The sightseeing out of the window was reversing quickly, and my curiosity was rising when the university drew nearer and nearer. My head was filled with diversities of questions“Is the campus beautiful; Is the dormitory comfortable; Are the people friendly.......The curiosity compensated for the fatigue of long journey.
About one hour later, we reached the destination –YuZhong. I went off the bus, and was led to fresh man reception centre where I registered and got my school card. After that, I was taken to my dormitory. One the way to dormitory, I met a lot of fresh men. It is evident that they were so excited for their new school lives that the majority of them hang their school card around their necks which is typical of new students. On their face, I could read Happiness, hope, confidents, and plenty of energy. Moreover, hardly when I was cleaning my dormitory, did my roommates come in. All of us were very glad to meet with new friends especially in a completely unfamiliar condition. We greeted to each other and talk quantities of things about ourselves.
On the evening, I wandered around the campus aimlessly. Seeing the building, the streets, the people, I thought a lot. Maybe, as soon as I put my first
step on the earth of YuZhong, I was bounded to change. Never was I a senior school student. Today must be a turn point of my life. Tomorrow, everything would different from the past. There were many things we need to confront. New responsibilities, new obligations, new challenges, new chances were waiting for us.
