摘要：In accordance with the teachings of the present disclosure, a method andsystem for the timing color of an image display are provided. In one embodiment, amethod for displaying image includes sequentially illuminating a spatial light modulator
with a plurality of colors by shining light through a color wheel having a plurality ofadjacent color segments. The method further includes determining, a time period inwhich the output of the color wheel is deemed not to correspond solely to either of thetwo adjacent color segments for at least a portion of the spatial light modulator. Thetime period is based at least in part on the luminance difference between two adjacentcolor segments in the color wheel.
