摘要：A system for supervising the operation of a repeater for pseudo-ternary codedsignals, comprising means for applying a random sequence of message signalstransmitted in pseudo-ternary code to the repeater input via an artificial line whosecharacteristics simulate the characteristics of a real line; means for periodically injectinginto such sequence measuring signals having at least one of a number of predeterminedcompositions; means for adjusting the amplitude relationship of a single pulse chosen ineach of the measuring signals to the peak amplitude of all the transmitted signals; andcounting means for measuring at the repeater output the number of polarity errorsoccurring in a predetermined period of time.
