摘要：1. A method of producing an electrical wire heating element for heating astream of air (B) flowing round the wire heating element, having an element formerreceiving a heating conductor winding and consisting of a plurality of supporting plates(1, 2, 3, 4) of heat-resistant insulating material of the same shape and edge lengthdisposed in the form of a cross or a star in relation to one another, having a heatingconductor (5) in the form of wire which is wound on the supporting plates (1, 2, 3, 4) and isconstructed in meandering or zigzag form or in the form of a wave band and which is incontact with radially external edges of the supporting plates (1, 2, 3, 4), wherein the nextsupporting plate in each case in the direction of winding A is disposed displaced by anamount (a1 ) in the longitudinal direction of the stream of air (B) in relation to theparticular supporting plate disposed in front of it, characterised in that, after beingwound with the heating conductor (5), the supporting plates (2, 3, 4) are displaced in thelongitudinal direction in relation to one another until their edges (6, 7, 8, 9) facing thestream of air lie in one plane.
