摘要：A two-step process for depositing and securing a chemical species onto amedical device. In the first step a chemical species is deposited onto a medical device.
Electrodeposition is used in one technique. In the second steps, the deposited coating issecured to the medical device. In one technique, plasma recoil implantation is used. Thetwo-step process is well-suited for non-metallic radioactive materials.
