摘要：PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To maintain a thickness and inner pressure of anairbag expanded in a proper state regardless of the size of a space between an occupantand a vehicle body side part member.SOLUTION: Either of a first opening 22 and a secondopening 23 is selectively closed with a valve member 26 according to the size of a gapbetween a side door 3 and an occupant 5, and gas is fed into an inner chamber 15 and asub chamber 24 or only into the inner chamber 15, so that an airbag can be expandedselectively in a state where all of an outer chamber 11, the inner chamber 15 and the subchamber 24 are expanded and in a state where the outer chamber 11 and the innerchamber 15 are exclusively expanded and the sub chamber 24 is not expanded.SELECTEDDRAWING: Figure 2
