second support columns respectively, the patient support including a first section (92,292) and a second section (93, 293) that are articulable therebetween, and rotationsubassemblies k(26t) and angulation subassemblies (27), the first and second ends of thepatient support structure being joined to respective first and second support columns byrespective rotation subassemblies and respective angulation subassemblies, the rotationsubassemblies controlling rotation of the patient support and the angulationsubassemblies controlling angulation of the patient support sections relative torespective support columns, each angulation subassembly is located only betweenrespective patient support sections and angulation subassemblies such that theangulation subassemblies do not interfere with free rotation of the patient support.
