摘要：A method is provided for further processing cold-rolled, stainless-steel sheetor strip (2) by being induction heated (4) to an annealing temperature in the range of upto 2300 degrees Fahrenheit (1260 degrees Centigrade), causing the formation thereon ofa scale having a thickness of less than 2000 angstroms, followed by electrolytic descaling(6) at high current density in an aqueous solution of 15 to 25 weight percent of sodiumsulfate, maintained at a temperature of at least 150 degrees Fahrenheit (65.5 degreesCentigrade).
