摘要：In a centrifugal separator a centrifugal rotor (1) is connected to a verticalspindle (3), which is supported by a frame (4) and journalled in a first bearing (6) and asecond bearing (5). The centrifugal separator is drivable by means of an electric motor(12), the stator (14) of the motor being fixed to the frame (4) such that it is radiallyimmovable relative to it, whereas the rotor (15) of the motor is radially movable togetherwith the spindle (3). The gap (16) between the rotor (15) and the stator (14) of the motoris dimensioned so that it permits the radial movability of the rotor (15).
