The article highlights the results of a poll of Americans at and around Ground Zero or the World Trade Center site in New York City. Majority of the respondents knew someone who died in the September 11, 2011 terrorist attack. Many of those polled felt a sense of national accomplishment after hearing the news of al-Qaeda leader Osama bin Laden's death, while others fear of retaliatory attacks. Majority also felt satisfied with the performance of U.S. President Barack Obama after bin Laden's death.
